Bookies Offer 10,000 to 1 On Federer Children Facing Each Other In Wimbledon Mixed Doubles Final

News that Roger Federer has had twin boys to add to the twin girls he had four years ago, has led Ladbrokes to offer odds on the twins meeting up in a Wimbledon mixed double final. The bookmakers, who operate 2,800 betting shops, are offering 10,000 to 1 odds on the Federer children making up the entire finalist round-up.

Mirka Federer gave birth to the boys on Tuesday, leading Ladbrokes to come up with a range of bets. They offer odds of 100 to 1 on any of the Federer children to win a Wimbledon singles title or 33 to 1 on any combination of the Federer children to win a Wimbledon doubles title.

Jessica Bridge told ESPN.com that the maximum bet allowed will be £10 ($17). She said: “Not too surprisingly we haven’t seen a single bet yet, as you’re going to need to wait about 20 years to collect any winnings”.

Anyone wanting a flutter on a none-tennis Federer bet can put money on the couple having another set of twins at 1000 to 1.

Roger Federer has won seven Wimbledon Championships and is currently ranked fourth in the world. The 32 year old Swiss player has won nearly £82m in prize money during his career.
