UKIP's NSA: Party HQ Uses Twitter to 'Spy' on Own Candidates/Officials

Last week, the UK Independence Party’s (UKIP) HQ launched its own Twitter account, separate to that of the UKIP national and press accounts.

Their first tweet, “Good Morning, first tweet from us here at UKIP Head Office, Lexdrum House” is however likely to be their last – as Breitbart London understands the account is purely being used to keep tabs on their own candidates and representatives.

Despite a flurry of UKIP activity this week, the @UKIPHQ account has only tweeted once in eight days, but is following 71 people including their recently elected Members of the European Parliament, and many of their own candidates.

At the time of publication, the owners of the account had not responded to Breitbart London‘s question: “Is this your NSA account? :)” – but we have it on good authority that it is.

Be wary, cyber ‘kippers… HQ is watching!
