Steve Forbes: Miliband's 'Real Clear Politics' Love Shows He Can Get Things Right, But Only By Law of Averages!

Britain’s socialist Labour Party leader Ed Miliband recently said that his favourite news website was not a British newspaper, but rather the U.S. Republican-owned Real Clear Politics.

Breitbart London spoke to Steve Forbes, the Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Media, which owns Real Clear Politics, about Ed Miliband’s recent admission.

Forbes described “the Miliband brothers” as the “Cain and Abel” of British politics, and told Breitbart London: “The fact he likes RealClearPolitics is a sign that by the law of averages, even Ed Miliband can get something right!”

Miliband’s comments were reported by Buzzfeed UK in May when he claimed: “I don’t read much British news. You get a lot of advice in the newspapers about what you should do. It’s much more important to follow your own path and stick to your own path. I’ve made that a rule in the last three and a half years.”

He said his favourite news website was RealClearPolitics, a Chicago-based U.S. news aggregator which is 51 percent owned by Forbes, whose owner and CEO is Steve Forbes.

Forbes, a former Republican Party Presidential candidate, is said to support smaller government and the death penalty. He, like UKIP leader Nigel Farage, opposes gun control and environmental regulation. Wikipedia notes that he opposes as well as drug legalisation and same-sex marriage.
