German Police Arrest Man Suspected of Abusing 175 Children

A taxi driver who is accused of sexually abusing 175 children and keeping a disabled boy in his apartment for four weeks has been arrested in Brandenburg, Germany.

The Local reports that police had been searching for the severley disabled 14-year-old for nearly a month when they found him at the man’s apartment on Friday.

Prosecutor Petra Hertwig said that the boy had been sexually abused, and added that the divorced taxi driver is being investigated for a huge 175 other cases of child abuse stretching back 20 years.

Prosecutors added that the disabled boy already knew the man when he went missing.

Investigators continually visited the man’s house to ask him about the disappearance but did not find the teenager as the man hid him behind a cupboard each time they visited.

He is accused of molesting 100 children and 75 adolescents.
