Nigeria Confirms Two New Ebola Cases

Lagos, August 09 (QNA) – Nigeria has confirmed two new cases of Ebola, bringing the total number of infections in Africa’s most populous country to nine, including two deaths.

‘We have an additional two confirmed cases. So the total now, we have nine confirmed cases, including two deaths,’ Nigerian Health Minister Onyebuchi Chukwu said in remarks.

On Friday the World Health Organization (WHO) said the Ebola epidemic in West Africa constitutes a public health emergency of international proportions. (QNA)
