A UKIP MEP found himself in an unusual stand-off with French far-right politician Jean-Marie Le Pen in the corridors of the European Parliament.
Le Pen was in the middle of an interview with Euronews when Steven Woolfe pushed his way through the crowd surrounding the French politician.
A stand-off then ensued when Woolfe returned to argue with one of Le Pen’s guards, who ordered him to “move away”.
However, it seems the tension has now been resolved, with Woolfe tweeting that the security later came to his office and apologised.
@WikiGuido Mr Le Pen’s security guard kindly came to my office afterwards and generously apologised # détente
