Shoreham Air Show Victims Total Set To Rise

The number of people killed in the Shoreham air crash could rise to 20, police have said.

Sky News reports that a crane has been lifting wreckage from the scene of the accident on the A27 road, although no more victims have been found underneath. The plane crashed onto the road during the Shoreham air show yesterday, with police saying at least 11 people are “highly likely” to have died.

Britain’s Civil Aviation Authority has now put “significant” restrictions on airshows, with displays by vintage jets now limited to flypasts, with skills aerial acrobatics forbidden.

So far, three victims have been named. They are Matthew Grimstone,  Jacob Schilt and Matt Jones.
