The UK Independence Party (UKIP) has released a new video following Breitbart London‘s story about Labour MP Rachael Maskell who said that Britain should allow migrants into the country until Britain reaches “saturation point”.

Maskell, who made the comments on Saturday at a pro-migrant rally in York said at the time:

“We need to shout so much more and say 20,000 is not enough, 30,000 is not enough. We will keep going until we hit our saturation point because what does it matter if we have to wait another week for a hospital visit?  Or if our class sizes are slightly bigger? Or if our city is slightly fuller? What does it matter if things are slightly more challenging? If we have to pay a little bit more into the system? Surely it is worth it to see those lives being restored again.”

She has since tried to distance herself from her own videoed comments, claiming that she never made them.

The video (below) compares and contrasts the sentiments between Ms. Maskell and UKIP leader Nigel Farage who has been warning about the pressure on the National Health Service, school places, and housing for years.

Her comments were also seized on by Yorkshire MEP Jane Collins, who told Breitbart London: “It matters a lot to hard working tax payers that they get the services they pay for and that their children get the best education possible.”

“I do not want this country to accept unlimited numbers of migrants – and we must not be fooled into thinking they are all refugees – particularly as we have intelligence from the French authorities that Islamic State terrorists are already hiding out in the camps in Calais ready to wreck havoc on our country.”

“Latest polls show that the establishment view on migrants is way out of touch with the opinions held by the voters – I wonder if that is why Ms Maskell is backtracking?”
