BLUNDER: ‘Stronger In’, Pro-EU Campaign Chief Claims EU ‘Saves Every Person £480m A Year’

The chairman of the ‘Stronger In’ campaign to keep Britain in the European Union made an epic blunder this morning, claiming that membership of the European Union saves every person in Britain £480 million a year.

Multi-millionaire Lord Rose spoke this morning at the ‘In’ campaign’s launch in multi-cultural East London, and fluffed his lines multiple times, not just claiming that the EU saves Britons “around £480 million a year” each, but also delivering the line in the following way:

“Being in Britain saves every person around £480 million a year”.

That’s right. He said “Being in Britain”.

Well no wonder the migrants are so keen to come here!
