WATCH: UKIP Launch 2017 General Election Manifesto

The UK Independence Party (UKIP) are launching their manifesto for the 2015 general election in Central London.

The document was written by former Tory and Deputy Chairwoman of UKIP Suzanne Evans, who also wrote the party’s 2015 manifesto.

Yesterday, party leader Paul Nuttall confirmed he will be “leading the party into war” by standing for parliament. He is expected to reveal which seat he will stand in at today’s event.

This is the first election fought by UKIP without the leadership of Nigel Farage in nearly ten years.

Mr. Nuttall and deputy leader Peter Whittle launch a hard-hitting new “integration agenda” earlier this week, claiming “UKIP recognises that the biggest issues of our time are cultural.”

It included a promise to ban the full face veil and discriminatory Sharia law, put a temporary ban on new Islamic schools, and take a “zero tolerance” approach to “honour violence” and female genital mutilation (FGM).

UPDATE:

The meeting began chaotically as far-left “anti-racism” demonstrators tried to disrupt the event:
