Singer Andra Day performed her Grammy-nominated Black Lives Matter-inspired anthem “Rise Up” Tuesday night during the Democratic National Convention.

Day’s performance followed speeches from the “Mothers of the Movement,” a group that consists of black mothers whose children were killed in police-involved shootings and other instances of gun violence.

“All we need, all we need is hope/ And for that we have each other/ And for that we have each other/ We will rise/ We will rise,” Day sang to the packed convention hall at the Wells Fargo Center.

Tuesday night’s performance wasn’t the first time Day has performed “Rise Up” on television.

The singer turned in a stirring rendition of the song this past February during a Black Lives Matter special that aired on ESPN.

Day also performed last month at a sold-out “She’s With Us” concert for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
