Lt. General Jerry Boykin Takes on the Ground Zero Mosque

With Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin and “Son of Hamas” author Mosab Hassan Youssef all voicing strong public opposition recently, momentum continues to build against the proposed erection of an Islamist victory arch, er, mosque, near Ground Zero. Of course, with New York City Mayor and mosque supporter Michael Bloomberg actively seeking to suppress any honest discussion over the pro-sharia, Muslim Brotherhood-inspired ideology of its imam and benefactors, the newly christened Park51 project still appears likely to given the green light. And one man who has been eyeball-to-eyeball with the forces of jihadist Islam on the battlefield told me recently that it will be a disaster for America in the long run.

Retired U.S. Army Lt. General Jerry Boykin is a founding member of Delta Force who has been involved in nearly every major American military operation in the past 30 years, from Grenada to Panama to Iraq to the “Black Hawk Down” battle in Somalia. Boykin, who possesses a thorough understanding of Islamic history and military tactics, as well as the “civilizational jihad” strategy of the Brotherhood and like-minded groups, also participated in the doomed mission to free U.S. hostages in Iran in 1980. In short, he “gets it” and then some when it comes to the jihadist movement and the existential threat it poses to Judeo-Christian, Western civilization.

That’s what made it so compelling when he shared his thoughts on the Ground Zero mosque project on a recent episode of my new CBN show, Stakelbeck on Terror. Click on the viewer above to watch and receive a wakeup call from a genuine American hero.
