More than Economic: Foreign Oil Dependence is an Unnecessary National Security Risk

This is my Friday appearance on Fox business in which I discuss the national security crisis that a 60% dependency on foreign energy portends (and a plug for my book as a bonus from Liz Claman). The USA has more coal than Saudi Arabia has oil, and Germany in the 1940s and South Africa in the 1970s and 80s showed that synthetic fuels IS a viable alternative to imported crude oil. Never in history has a nation so powerful as the USA chosen to deny itself its own raw materials and instead funnel money to its enemies in order to pay for something (energy) that it has in abundance.
