Muslim Groups Push Back Against Hate Groups?

When I first saw this article, Muslim Groups Push Back Against Hate Groups, on the Internet I thought it meant Muslims were finally pushing back against Islamic hate groups that practice jihad. But no, once again the hate groups they are “pushing back against” are the groups that oppose the mosque or Islamic center (not sure what it is called now) near ground zero.

If those against the mosque at ground zero are hate groups then just what are those groups who chant “death to America”, and tell the Pope to “rot in hell,” or issue fatwa’s to kill anyone who draws Mohammad, or preach violent jihad?

It’s all well and good that Muslims in America want to say that they are not terrorists, that they don’t support terrorism and “don’t want to impose Islam on anyone else.” Yes it said “impose Islam on anyone else” perhaps a Freudian slip seems to imply they have already “imposed” it on others.

There is only one flaw in their “bridge building” they first must burn the bridge that associates Islam with terrorism, hate speech, and jihad. They need to organize protests against the likes of Saudi Cleric Muhammad Al-Arifi who promotes a “Devotion to Jihad” and “the desire to shed blood, to smash skulls and to sever limbs for the sake of Allah…an honor for the believer.” Al-Arifi says the Quran calls for infidels to convert to Islam, or pay a poll tax, or be killed. This speech was aired on Al-Rahama TV in July.

Here is a quote from an al Qaeda manifesto made public in 2002 titled Why We Fight America.

What happened to America [on 9/11] is something natural, an expected event for a country that uses terror, arrogant policy, and suppression against the nations and the peoples … America is the head of heresy in our modern world, and it leads an infidel democratic regime that is based upon separation of religion and state and on ruling the people by … laws that contradict the way of Allah…. [Therefore], we have the right to kill 4 million Americans – 2 million of them children – and to exile twice as many and wound and cripple hundreds of thousands. Furthermore, it is our right to fight them with chemical and biological weapons…

Is this arrogance or just plain lunacy…or both?

On August 18 this year in an interview on Al-Nas TV the Egyptian cleric Salem Abu Al-Futuh stated:

The nation of Islam will return – despite our current crisis and despite the arrogance of the West. The West is bound to be destroyed. Just like Allah destroyed the Byzantine and Persian empires, He will destroy the West at the hands of the Muslims. This is an unequivocal promise. These countries will convert to Islam. Islam will reach these countries.

And what about the group of Muslims lining the streets of Great Britain who shouted, “rot in hell” as Pope Benedict passed by in a motorcade?

Then there is the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) a popular Muslim organization that promotes shariah. Here is an excerpt from one of the books they are required to read:

Islam denies all authorities other than Allah. It denies the concept that while in the church/mosque/synagogue, one worships Allah and when outside, he obeys Caesar and manmade laws. There is no diarchy in Islam. Such duality of a character is clearly hypocrisy and it is totally forbidden in Islam. … Allah’s authority must be accepted in every walk of life. Only Allah’s given code of conduct (Shariah) should be practiced.

This is only a fraction of the hate speech spewed by Muslims in America and around the world. Yet we are accused of hate speech when we oppose an Islamic Center that is to be built near a place where Muslims murdered thousands of Americans.

When an American announces he is going to burn the Quran the whole of the Muslim world including moderates protest. Where are the protests against those Muslims who chant “Death to America”, who preach Jihad to destroy the West, to murder millions of Americans and their children? There may be some but in comparison to those who preach hate and violent jihad their numbers are negligible.

When are Americans going to wake up to the Islamization of Europe and especially Britain and France? Some authors believe France could be a Muslim nation in the next 30 years or at least sometime in this century.

Last year Switzerland banned minarets on Mosques and because the vote was a clear majority the ban will be added to their constitution. This month the National Assembly of France passed a bill to ban the burqa not surprisingly the same day the Eiffel Tower had to be evacuated because of a false bomb threat. The article did not say the threat was from some Islamic terrorist organization. They didn’t have to.

It is the clear intent of extremist to infiltrate the West, to impose shariah law and Islamic customs that we fear. Watching Europe contending with riots, ever increasing populations of Muslims with their demands to be allowed to use shriah law over the law of the land is disconcerting. Seeing Muslims preach world domination of Islam is sobering.

Muslims don’t seem to want to admit there is a hypocrisy. Religious tolerance is practiced by most of the civilized world but not in the Islamic states they have immigrated from. It is that very tolerance that has allowed Muslims to immigrate to the freedom loving countries of the West.

Muslims need to understand that many Americans don’t want to see Mosques built in their neighborhood. They don’t want to hear the call to prayer; they don’t want to see women in burqas. This is not only foreign to Americans it is the invasion of a culture that is not compatible with the American way of life.

What if Saudi Arabia had Jewish men in yamakas going to synagogue on Saturday and then heard Catholic Church bells ringing the “call to mass” on Sunday. Do you suppose they would consider that an invasion of their culture? A rhetorical question since that would never happen. More hypocrisy.

Now some will call me racist yet Islam is not a race it is a culture, a way of life, a form of totalitarian government, which is not compatible with modern society or our Constitution. Many Islamic countries practice shirah law, which is comprised of laws that prohibit free speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, freedom of religion, respect of legal rights, trial by jury, and freedom from cruel and unusual punishment.

Those Muslims who would also consider me intolerant need to look at their own religion. Where is the tolerance? Will Muslims ever admit that Islam is not compatible with Western culture? If they do they will have to work very hard to reconcile the differences. If they don’t the only recourse is for the West to enact laws to suppress offensive Islamic customs and shariah law.

Muslims need to consider what it is like for Americans to be forced to assimilate to the laws and customs they bring to our country. Our laws and customs would never be allowed in Islamic states. More hypocrisy!
