The Chinese have a corner on the market of the rare earth minerals we need build our weapons. Our ‘allies’ in the Pakistani military cannot keep our fuel supply lines safe. Whether depending on an enemy for weapons or unreliable allies for safe fuel delivery, neither option is preferable for the U.S. national security.
