How Did Your Senators and Congressman Do? National Security Scorecard Released

The Center for Security Policy just released its ninth National Security Scorecard for the 111th Congress, 2009-2010. The scored votes – eight in the U.S. House of Representatives, twelve in the U.S. Senate – covered a wide range of national security issues voted on in Congress the past two years, including Gitmo, Afghanistan, border security, the Iranian nuclear program, and more.

The National Security Scorecard defined “Champions of National Security” as those legislators who voted 100% with the Center’s positions on all scored votes for which they were present. The Center’s findings identified 158 Members of the U.S. House of Representatives and 32 Senators as “Champions of National Security.”
