We’ve reported here before that the Iranian government is taking credit for supporting and inspiring the uprisings taking place in Tunisia and Egypt. Now here’s an interesting development: opposition forces in Iran are planning demonstrations in Tehran to show their support for protesters in Tunisia and Egypt. They are planned for February 14. How will the government respond? Police officials have already announced that they will “act harshly” if they join the planned demonstrations.
