DNC Fail: Russian Warships, Turkish Jets, and a War Protester

During the Democrat National Convention, Democrats unknowingly used photos of Russian warships instead of American warships on their backdrop. Although they apologized for that, they overlooked one minor problem: the jet fighters on their backdrop weren’t American either. Rather, they were Turkish jets.

Coincidentally, the Russian ships and Turkish jets both appeared as Senator John Kerry was introducing President Obama.  This is somewhat fitting when you think of Kerry’s opposition to our military throughout the years.

In 1972, Kerry described those with whom he served in Vietnam as committing atrocities on a day-to-day basis. And in the 2004 election cycle, during an appearance on Face the Nation, he made our troops sound like terrorists when he said, “There’s no reason that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids, children, women.”

It’s honestly hard to know which was worse: the Russian ships, the Turkish jets, or Senator Kerry trying to act pro-military.
