Hamas Opposes Holocaust Studies at UN-Sanctioned Schools

Hamas, the terrorist organization that refuses to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist, told the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) that it won’t allow teaching of the Holocaust in its Gaza Strip schools. Hamas went ballistic after some Arab media outlets reported that UNRWA was planning to reintroduce the Holocaust into its school curriculum.

The Refugee Affairs Department of Hamas denounced the teaching of the Holocaust as a “crime against the issue of the refugees that is aimed at canceling their right of return.” Meanwhile, UNRWA teachers in Jordan also reportedly announced their opposition to teaching the Holocaust in their schools.

Hamas called on UNRWA to stop “passing suspicious projects in the context of services it provides to Palestinian refugees … confront these suspicious projects and reject them.”

Instead of the Holocaust, Hamas said, the Arab children ” … need to be re-taught the history and geography of Palestine as a basic subject. The children are entitled to learn about the massacres perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinians since the Nakba.”

Nakba is the name Hamas uses for the founding of the modern State of Israel.

Not only does Hamas want Jews of the present dead; it also wants to erase the Jews from history.
