Israeli Consul General: We May Use Ground Troops in Gaza

Today on KRLA 870’s “The Heidi Harris Show” with Brian Whitman and Breitbart Editor-At-Large Ben Shapiro, Israeli Consul General David Siegel stated that Israel may have to send ground troops into Gaza in a larger-scale operation that could test the fragility of the Obama-Israel relationship. Siegel stated that Israel had already taken out the vast majority of Hamas’ long-range rockets in its initial assault, but that if rockets continued to be fired from Gaza, Israel would have no choice but to put boots on the ground.

The vaunted Iron Dome system has been working well – Israel has already shot down in excess of 80 rockets. But Israel has only four batteries for the Iron Dome system, when it truly needs fifteen. During the latest rocket assault, three Israelis were killed when a Hamas rocket hit a civilian building in Southern Israel.
