Turkish PM Calls Israel a 'Terrorist State'

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Ergodan called Israel a “terrorist state” on Monday for defending itself against Hamas aggression.

Speaking after “a week of Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel” and the Israeli response to those attacks, Ergodan said:

Those who associate Islam with terrorism close their eyes in the face of mass killing of Muslims, turn their heads from the killing of children in Gaza. For this reason, I say that Israel is a terrorist state and its acts are terrorist acts.

Conveniently, Ergodan did not discuss Hamas’ use of the the innocent as human shields. He completely passed over Hamas Interior Minister Fathi Hamad’s boasts about how women, the elderly, and children “excel” at dying for the Palestinian cause.
