FBI Finds Bomb-Making Materials, Designs in Home of AZ Bombing Suspect

Reports are now emerging that authorities seized “chemicals, weapons, and bomb making instructions” from the home of Iraqi refugee Abdullatif Aldosary after apprehending him in connection with the bombing of the Social Security office in Casa Grande, AZ last Friday.

Aldosary is accused of bombing the office in the early morning hours of Friday, November 30th — before anyone was in the building. He was arrested following that attack, and authorities are now learning he could have done much more damage.

Current reports say that although the FBI has yet to determine Aldosary’s motive, they have found “a cache of documents” hidden in his house which covered “materials and equipment needed to make RDX… homemade nitroglycerine, ammonium nitrate from homemade chemicals, [and instructions on] how to make a bomb from homemade chemicals.”

Authorities also found something similar to a grocery list, where Aldosary had written “Materials Needed” on a piece of paper above a list of bomb-making chemicals he had yet to purchase.
