Poll: 39% Think Obama Not Supportive Enough of Israel

A Pulse Opinion Research Poll conducted on Feb. 28 finds that 39% of respondents believe Obama is not supportive enough of Israel.

This is an increase of 9% over the number who said he was not supportive enough in similar polls nearly two years ago.

The Feb. poll also shows a decline in the number of people who think Obama is “too supportive” of Israel. In a May 2011 poll, 27% of respondents said they thought Obama was “too supportive of Israel.” That number is now down to 13%.

The public perceives less support for Israel right now than they did almost two years ago, and this comes at a time when Israel faces many enemies abroad and needs an ally in the United States more than ever.
