Islamic Cleric 'Happy' to See Pain Caused by Boston Marathon Bombing

The leader of an extremist Jordanian Muslim Salafi group says he was happy about the Boston bombings, saying, “Let the Americans feel the pain we endured by their armies occupying Iraq and Afghanistan and killing our people there.”

The cleric, Mohammad al-Chalabi, “was convicted in an Al Qaeda-linked plot to attack [the] U.S. and other Western diplomatic missions in Jordan in 2003.”

He served a seven year sentence for the “foiled attack,” and his extremist group was banned in Jordan.

Commenting on the bombs that brought mayhem to the Boston Marathon, al-Chalabi said he “was happy to see the horror in America” because “American blood isn’t more precious than Muslim blood.”
