Palestinian Chief Negotiator Saeb Erekat says that if U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry’s efforts at restarting the peace process between Israel and the Palestinian Authority fails, “the West Bank could fall to radicalism and violence.”

According to The Guardian, Erekat claims that Israel has thus far been inflexible in its demands, which has resulted in “a refusal to agree to even a basic agenda for peace.”

In turn, he says this alleged inflexibility threatens Sec. Kerry’s attempts to restart the peace process and likewise strains “the Palestinian Authority’s policy of non-violence.”

Israeli Defense Forces have received reports that the PA has begun inciting violence already, thereby “[fueling] the recent wave of rock and firebomb terror plus rampant rioting across Yesha.”
