ZAPOROZHYE, Ukraine, Sept. 29 (UPI) — An impromptu fling on a railroad track in Ukraine proved deadly deadly for a couple that was run over by a train, police said.
A woman was killed and her boyfriend lost his legs when they were struck by a switcher locomotive while having sex on the tracks early Saturday.
The Ukraine Interior Ministry said in a written statement that the man told police in Zaporozhye they had “failed to overcome their natural passion when walking home … and wanted to experience an extreme sensation near the railroad tracks.”
RIA Novosti said the ministry did not release the names of the 41-year-old man and his “thirty-something” companion.
