Iran Airs Simulated Strike on Israel on Iranian TV

On February 7th, Iranian TV aired a video of a computer simulated attack “on Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ben Gurion Airport and the Dimona nuclear reactor.”

The video also showed “simulated strikes on the American aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.”

According to The Times of Israel, in both instances the Iranians were trying to send a signal of how they would respond to an Israeli or U.S.-led attack on Iran.

The video of the simulated attack was aired “amid a clear escalation of anti-American rhetoric and even action by Iran,” including the February 8th “dispatch” of Iranian warships to U.S. maritime borders.

During the video, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says: “America, its regional puppets, and its guard dog–the Zionist regime–should know that the response of the Iranian nation to any kind of aggression, attacks or even threats will be a response that will make them collapse from within.”
