Social Media Highlights Terror of Israelis Caught in Failed Hamas Siege

Israelis living in the field of attack of the terrorist group Hamas endured a dramatic day in which Israeli Defense Forces fended off Hamas attacks on land, air, and sea. While the IDF was successful in protecting many, the terror is not yet over for civilians in the line of fire, as evidenced by Israelis sharing their personal experiences on social media.

Hamas terrorists attempted to infiltrate Israel by the sea near Zikim, but the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stopped them.

In the evening, a wedding was interrupted when rockets from Gaza were shot into Israel. It was caught on tape and uploaded to YouTube.

IDF claims 117 rockets from Gaza struck Israel, and 29 rockets were intercepted by the IDF Iron Dome. The IDF also said they hit 50 terror targets for a total of 200 since Operation Protective Edge started on July 7. The rockets and missiles from Gaza are a threat to millions of people.

Israelis provide live updates on Twitter. To many it will be a sleepless night on July 8 due to constant rockets and bombs from Gaza.
