After Gaza officials announced that “35 Palestinians have died in recent hostilities,” the Hamas military wing “warned that all Israelis are now targets.”
Israel said it will “expand its campaign against Hamas.”
According to BBC News, Israel targeted “118 concealed rocket launchers, 10 Hamas command-and-control centers and 10 tunnels” during the night July 8/July 9. This means Israel has gone after a total of 440 targets in Gaza since the launch of “Operation Protective Edge.”
Gaza officials claim that “half of the casualties” from Israeli airstrikes are civilians and that a number of those “are women and children.”
Israel estimates that Hamas has approximately 10,000 rockets and wants to eliminate the threat posed by them.
