Denmark Mosque Pledges Allegiance to Islamic State

A Danish mosque spokesman has announced that his place of worship fully supports the Islamic State terrorist group that is waging a war of genocidal aspirations in Iraq and Syria.

“An Islamic State will always be what Muslims long for, therefore we cannot help but to support the Islamic State. Even if it makes mistakes, we will just have to wait and see,” said Mosque spokesman Fadi Abdallah to online news network Den Korte Avis. He continued, “The conditions aren’t the same down there [in Syria and Iraq] as they are here. I can fully understand why people are getting killed.”

In late July, the imam of the mosque told congregants to pray that Allah will kill “Zionist Jews,” Denmark’s The Local reported. “Oh Allah, destroy the Zionist Jews,” he said. “They are no challenge for you. Count them and kill them to the very last one. Don’t spare a single one of them. Oh Lord, bring torment upon them,” he concluded.

Denmark police have estimated that as many as 22 men from the radical Grimhøjmoskeen mosque have left Copenhagen for Syria to wage jihad on behalf of the Islamic State. “We can definitely say that when you go to the mosque, there is an increased risk of heading off for Syria,” said a police spokesman earlier in the year.

Last week, the Denmark military authorized an aid package to help Iraqi and Kurdish forces battling Islamic State militants in Syria and Iraq.
