The world constantly calls on Muslims to speak out against the radical Islamic groups. British Muslims answered with the #NotInMyName hashtag on Twitter to take a stand against the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq.
British Muslims at Active Change Foundation posted a video on YouTube to explain how the Islamic State is misrepresenting Islam. The Muslims say the terrorists are un-Islamic because they “murder innocent people” and “they are all unjust.” They call for all Muslims to unite against the Islamic State to stop the jihadists “from damaging Islam and damaging Muslims.”
The Foundation states on their webpage “Islam teaches peace, respect and love. ISIS is hiding behind a false Islam.” The group decided to also asked others to join the movement and tweet why the Islamic State does not represent them.

I support #NotInMyName !! What ISIS is doing doesn’t represent Islam & so is being opposed by the majority of Muslims across the globe.
