After her terrorist son was sentenced to death for his part in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s mother warned that Allah would burn the USA in an “eternal and terrifying fire.”
On Friday, May 15, the younger Tsarnaev was sentenced to death despite his defense team attempting to persuade the court to believe that Dzhokhar was just a “kid” who was swept up into terrorism by a domineering older brother.
Now Dzhokhar’s mother, Zubediat Tsarnaeva, is lashing out via a texting app saying that she hopes the United States burns in an “eternal and terrifying fire.”
“They think that they are killing us and they celebrate this, but we are the ones who will rejoice when Allah grants us the chance to behold them in the flames of an eternal and terrifying fire, an otherworldly flame,” Tsarnaeva said in a message to a friend.
The messages were discovered on a Vocativ.com page set up by supporters of the woman’s now-convicted and condemned son.
