U.S. Issues Worldwide Travel Alert for Americans Traveling Abroad

A travel alert, which is to be in effect until Feb. 24, said current information suggests that militants with the Islamic State, al-Qaida, Boko Haram and other terrorist groups continue to plan attacks in multiple regions. U.S. authorities said the likelihood of terror attacks will continue as members of IS return from Syria and Iraq, and other individuals not affiliated with terror groups engage in violence on their own.

Boko Haram Suicide Bombers Kill 10 in Cameroon

The latest in a string of suicide bomber attacks from Boko Haram killed ten people and wounded at least twelve others in the town of Fotokol, Cameroon on Saturday. The UK Metro cites some other sources that say nine were killed, and specifies that the location of the attack was actually a village called Nigue near Fotokol.
