PARIS, Sept. 18 (UPI) — Journalist Gio Benitez from Good Morning America, World News Tonight and Nightline is now engaged to boyfriend Tommy DiDario.
The popular television correspondent shared photographer Pierre Torset’s photo of his proposal Thursday. In it, Benitez kneels down in front of a shocked Didario in Paris, France while the Eiffel Tower stands in the background.
“Time is what’s left behind in the wake of love,” Benitez wrote in the caption to his post, which earned nearly 5,000 likes and 1,000 comments of congratulations. Lifestyle blogger DiDario also shared photos of his engagement on Instagram mixed in with snapshots of his and his partner’s Parisian adventures.
“Today I said yes to my true partner in life,” DiDario wrote in a caption to a photo showing off the couple’s engagement bands. “Couldn’t be happier to stand next to you forever,” he added.
