Adele’s ‘Hello’ is No. 1 on the U.S. record chart for a seventh week

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 15 (UPI) — Adele’s stirring ballad “Hello” is No. 1 on the U.S. record chart for a seventh week, Billboard.com announced.

The accomplishment means “Hello” ties for duration with the British songstress’ “Rolling in the Deep,” which topped the same roster for seven weeks in 2011.

Coming in at No. 2 on the current Billboard Hot 100 is Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” followed by Drake’s “Hotline Bling” at No. 3, Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” at No. 4 and Bieber’s “Love Yourself” at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are The Weeknd’s “The Hills” at No. 6, Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” at No. 7, Alessia Cara’s “Here” at No. 8, Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love” at No. 9 and Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” featuring John Legend at No. 10.
