NEW YORK, March 25 (UPI) — Amanda Seyfried says she would kill to be 20.
The 29-year-old actress discussed growing older at the New York premiere of {i:While We’re Young}. Seyfried and Adam Driver inspire a middle-aged couple (Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts) with their youthful outlook in the film, but the star said she herself wants more time.
“Time! More time!” she {link:told E! News: “http://www.eonline.com/news/639076/amanda-seyfried-opens-up-about-turning-30-in-december-every-year-i-think-more-about-my-mortality”,nw} when asked what she hopes for herself at 40. “I’m turning 30 and sometimes I think, ‘God, where did the last decade go?’ I would kill to be 20. Life is short. Every year I think more about my mortality.”
Seyfried and actor Justin Long have been dating since 2013, and the actress {link:told Us Weekly: “http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/amanda-seyfried-young-people-instagram-sad-taylor-swift-hip-2015243″,nw} she sees herself having children in the future. The star admitted she is “comfortable in the familiar,” and described herself as “a nester.”
“I think it’s an important chapter,” she said of motherhood when asked what she sees for herself at 40. “There are some people who just know innately what they are, what they’re capable of. Yeah, [parenthood] seems natural.”
{i:While We’re Young} opens in theaters Friday, March 27. Seyfried is scheduled for a number of upcoming projects, including {i:Ted 2} with Mark Wahlberg, {i:Fathers and Daughters} with Russell Crowe and {i:Pan} with Hugh Jackman.
