LOS ANGELES, Nov. 19 (UPI) — Anna Faris says she dated a lot of jerks before marrying Chris Pratt.
The 38-year-old actress opened up about her past relationships and the 36-year-old actor on the debut episode of her podcast, Anna Faris is Unqualified, this week.
“My whole 20s were about relationship learning, and I had so many bad relationships, but I feel like I at least learned what made me feel good and what didn’t feel good,” Faris shared.
“But I did learn, at least, from some of those relationships what kindness was and how I wanted a guy who was actually — who was nice and kind,” she revealed.
Faris, who was previously wed to actor Ben Indra, said she fell in love with several “narcissists” before marrying Pratt in July 2009. The couple welcomed their son Jack nine weeks premature in August 2012, and Pratt shared a video of the 3-year-old Tuesday.

Faris plays Christy Plunkett on CBS sitcom Mom, which airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET. Pratt will next star in a remake of The Magnificent Seven with Denzel Washington, and is also slated for Passengers with Jennifer Lawrence and Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
