LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (UPI) — Anne Hathaway beat the paparazzi to the punch, posting a first photo of her baby bump to social media when she saw cameramen taking her picture.
On Sunday, the actress posted a first pregnancy photo of herself on a beach wearing a red bikini. As she explains in the caption, she chose to share the snap after she was spotted by photographers.
“So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed,” the Oscar winner wrote.
“I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should be an image that makes me happy (and one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :)”
News broke that Hathaway was pregnant with her first child with husband Adam Shulman back in November. The two have been married since 2012.
Hathaway will next be seen reprising her role as the White Queen in Alice Through the Looking Glass due out in theaters May 27.
