LOS ANGELES, Aug. 3 (UPI) — Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross announced the name of their new baby girl on Instagram.
Jagger Snow Ross was born July 30, and her proud mommy said, “We are overjoyed about the birth of our precious baby girl Jagger Snow Ross.”
She captioned the photo: “@realevanross I love you #JaggerSnowRoss we love you.”
The internet flooded with comments that the name has a very rocker star feel to it, after all Ashlee is sister to pop singer turned designer Jessica Simpson and Evan is the son to Motown legend Diana Ross.
A source told E! News the parents “wanted something fun and different.”

Ross posted the same message on his account, along with photos of his and Simpson on their wedding day last year, the couple will be celebrating their first anniversary this month.
Simpson already has a son, Brontx, 6, with ex-husband Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy.
But there’s no doubt Simpson’s new account, @ashleesimpsonross, which has already garnered 201,000 followers, will be flooded with photos of her and Ross’ new bundle of joy.
