LOS ANGELES, Oct. 19 (UPI) — Ashley Tisdale celebrated Zac Efron’s 29th birthday by sharing a throwback photo from their time working on High School Musical.
“Happy birthday buddy! @ZacEfron you will always be the Troy to my Sharpay,” Tisdale wrote on Twitter Tuesday referencing their High School Musical characters alongside a photo of Efron giving the actress a piggy-back ride.
“[Heart emoji] you brother!” she continued.
Both are seen donning their looks from the popular Disney channel film.
Also on Tuesday, another one of Efron’s castmates from the film, Monique Coleman, shared a throwback photo of the actor from their High School Musical days writing on Instagram “Happy birthday @zacefron. I’m always proud of you, always rooting for you & eternally grateful for all the memories. I hope your last 20 is your best yet!”
The High School Musical-themed birthday wishes come after Efron reunited with stars Corbin Bleu and Lucas Grabeel as the trio attended a Broadway show together.
