MIAMI, April 30 (UPI) — Austin Mahone is officially dating Becky G.
The 19-year-old pop star confirmed he and the 18-year-old singer are together in an interview with MTV News. Mahone and Becky G have been linked since 2014, and often share photos together on Instagram.
“We’re dating,” he announced. “Never had, like, a real relationship before so it’s pretty crazy. It’s great being in a relationship with someone that, like, does the same thing you do. We understand, like, each other, we understand, like, what we do.”
Mahone previously dated Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello for a short period in 2014. The pop star released his second EP, The Secret, in May 2014, and will appear in Becky G’s upcoming music video for “Lovin’ So Hard.”
