Melbourne (AFP) – Cardinal George Pell’s appeal against child sex abuse conviction was rejected by Australian judges Wednesday, sending the top Vatican official back to jail.
“He will continue to serve his sentence of six years imprisonment,” said Chief Justice Anne Ferguson, dismissing a series of appeals from Pell’s lawyers.
