PORT MACQUARIE, Australia, Dec. 22 (UPI) — New South Wales Police are searching for a man who was caught on video stealing an inflatable Santa decoration from a local residence.
The video shows the man opening a gate on the Port Macquarie, Australia home at around 10:30 p.m. Sunday as he proceeds to run off with the lawn decoration.
“Police are ho-ho-hoping the public can help identify a man who stole a large inflatable Santa from a display on William Street, Port Macquarie,” New South Wales Police wrote on Facebook. “Police from [Mid North Coast] are keen to get their Claus on this alleged Grinch.”
The suspect has not been found and residents have been encouraged to contact local authorities with information.
