LOS ANGELES, Oct. 17 (UPI) — New mom Behati Prinsloo enjoyed a post-baby girls’ night over the weekend.
The 27-year-old model shared a celebratory selfie Saturday before meeting friends for the first time since welcoming daughter Dusty Rose with husband Adam Levine.
“After 3 weeks of breastfeeding every 3 hours, no sleep and nursing my nipples back to life lol, I left the house to see my girls for dinner. Life is so beautiful, can’t believe how lucky I got,” she wrote.
Prinsloo and Levine married in 2014 and welcomed their daughter Sept. 21. Levine said on Thursday’s episode of On Air with Ryan Seacrest that fatherhood has been wonderful thus far.
“I like to think that parenting is something that we were literally put on this earth to do,” the Maroon 5 singer said. “I’ve been a parent for three weeks; what do I know? I don’t know anything, but it’s kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly.”
“There are a lot of instincts and a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on,” he revealed. “It’s a beautiful experience.”
Prinsloo’s friend and fellow Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel also recently welcomed her first child. Prinsloo posted a sweet message to the 27-year-old mom and her son, Anaca, on Instagram last week.
“Cheers bru we did it,” she wrote. “Can’t believe we got so lucky to be on this amazing journey together forever. Love you and can’t wait to meet Anaca.”
