NEW YORK, March 19 (UPI) — Jennifer Garner was sharing a St. Patrick’s day green beer with Jimmy Fallon when she revealed on The Tonight Show that her husband, the Boston-native Ben Affleck cried after the New England Patriots won the Super Bowl in February.
“There were tears,” Garner told Fallon. “Seriously, it was like the greatest moment of his life. It actually was, though. I birthed babies for him, and I still have never seen just the pure joy.”
Asked about where they watched the game, Garner explained she had to stay home with the kids because the couple ran into a “babysitter situation.”
“That’s motherhood for you,” said Garner before Fallon asked her advice on raising his two baby girls.
Garner has been doing the talk show rounds while promoting her forthcoming drama Danny Collins, where she co-stars with Al Pacino. The actress made headlines earlier this week after she cried on
The Today Show while speaking about her mother and sisters.
