Beyonce, Nicki Minaj buddy-up in ‘Feeling Myself’ video

COACHELLA, Calif., May 19 (UPI) — The Tidal exclusive release of Nicki Minaj and Beyonce’s “Feeling Myself” may have out-shown another high-profile video premier this week.

The video features the two divas nonchalantly, then aggressively ‘feeling themselves,’ not dropping any other names as they enjoy the fruits of a vacation in Coachella, Calif.

The video opens with an unedited version of Queen B and Minaj — expertly dressed — standing under the Coachella city limit highway sign as the “Partition” singer lip-syncs to her own vocals.

“Perfect, yes,” says the director from behind the camera.

The stars are then seen cooling off in a children’s pool wearing chic one-piece bathing suits and fur coats. The shot then cuts to an almost inaudible clip from what appears to be the Coachella music festival.

The full-length video is available for paid members on Tidal.com, while a teaser is available to the public. In it, Bey and Minaj dance, pose and munch in colorful scenes featuring top-notch street fashion and the Tidal logo.

In one scene, the singers — whom are collectively worth millions of dollars — relax on the side of a bounce house and link arms (as if to toast) to chomp on drive-thru burgers.

The legends in their own right are also seen tossing fries at each other in an attempt to catch them with their mouths. The full-length video shows Beyonce successfully gnawing on a fry alongside a laughing, wide-eyed Minaj.

The video was released days after the Billboard premier of Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood.” Billboard.com is currently taking a poll asking fans to vote on their favorite video of the week.
