NEW YORK, May 15 (UPI) — If Beyoncé wasn’t a worldwide trendsetter already, her recent dip into budget denim did the trick.
The “Partition” singer and her husband, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z, were spotted in New York Tuesday when E! News recognized her distressed high-waisted jeans were a $39.99 pair from none other than H&M.
The jeans, ripped from top to bottom (but all in the right places), apparently sold out soon after fans discovered her fashion choice. The superstar paired her jeans with a Charlotte Olympia clutch, Proenza Schouler sandals and a tank that read, “Never Forget to Say Thank You,” to make up for the cost disparity no doubt.
The 33-year-old mother was spotted in another pair of H&M digs the day after wowing crowds at the Met Gala.
