NEW YORK, May 22 (UPI) — It’s going to be A Very Murray Christmas for Bill Murray fans because a star-studded special is coming to Netflix for the holiday season.
According to Variety, the show will be “an homage to classic variety shows.” The plot will include Murray playing a TV host, but due to a New York snowstorm he doesn’t think anyone will show up.
A slew of celebrities will show up and are already scheduled to make an appearance. So far, the cast includes George Clooney, Paul Shaffer, Amy Poehler, Julie White, Dimitri Dimitrov, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, Rashida Jones, Miley Cyrus, and more.
Sophia Coppola is directing, penning the script and producing the special along with Mitch Glazer, Roman Coppola and Tony Hernandez.
