NEW YORK, April 14 (UPI) — Billy Joel’s publicist has confirmed the 65-year-old rock ‘n’ roll icon is to be a dad again now that his 33-year-old girlfriend is pregnant.
“Billy Joel and his girlfriend, Alexis Roderick, are expecting their first child this summer,” {link:Joel’s spokeswoman said in a statement for the New York Post’s Page Six column Tuesday: “http://pagesix.com/2015/04/14/billy-joel-65-and-girlfriend-expecting-baby/”,nw}. “The singer has one daughter, singer/songwriter Alexa Ray Joel. The couple, together since 2009, opted to keep any further details of her pregnancy under wraps until their new addition makes an official debut.”
Alexa Ray — whose mother is Joel’s ex-wife Christie Brinkley — is 29. Brinkley also has a son and daughter with her ex-husband Peter Cook.
