MIAMI, July 13 (UPI) — Lil Wayne and Birdman’s bad blood just reached a whole new level.
While both of the rappers were at Liv Nightclub in Miami on Sunday to celebrate Jim Jones, someone from Birdman’s VIP table threw a drink at Lil Wayne while he was on stage.
A club goer told TMZ that the drink was tossed while the rapper was performing his song “CoCo,” which happens to be about his feud with Birdman and Cash Money.
Someone from the audience filmed the incident after the drink was thrown and you can see Lil Wayne stopping the track to look up at his former mentor.
Back in December, Wayne posted a string of tweets explaining why his album won’t be released because Birdman and Cash Money Records refuse to release it. He is currently suing Birdman and is trying to leave the label.
